Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where Dale or Franca choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.
One of the bonuses of returning back to Italy in June has surely been finding freshly made oven baked over flaming wood pizza. There’s truly nothing like it or matches the smokey flavour you get from those outside ovens you’ll find in so many parts of Italy.
Always made with fresh ingredients, the flavours and combinations of meats and cheeses (or a mixture of vegetables in our case) have a ticket to heaven from the smell, a ticket to hell with the taste. The taste feels wicked, naughty and almost feels like you’re stealing the fruits from the gods.
Honestly, it’s that good.
Here’s a few pictures from our trip that make the mouth water with their fresh mozzarella, spongy dough, crisp crusts and powerful trimmings of rocket.
