Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where Dale or Franca choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.
That we like street art is not a secret anymore and it’s curious to see what we accidentally find in very unexpected places. I was looking at some photos we took of graffiti and street art in general and I spotted a few representing cats and all in a very different and unique way between each other.
I love cats and I love graffiti, so I thought I’d gather some photos together that show the cat graffiti I liked the most.
I’m Looking forward to know which one is your favourite!
Nice theme of cats – this was a really creative post 😀 I am a HUGE lover of street art. My favorite of all of the cats is the first one!

Thanks Chanel, I also love street art a lot and cats too. I cannot quite choose which one out of those art pieces I love the most, I agree with you though that the first one is pretty nice 🙂
What a great idea for a photo theme! The three little cats are very cute.

Thanks Katie, I love cats and graffiti so I thought why not to combine the two together?
Ooh, I like them all but think the third one is my favorite! I’m really drawn to graphic black, white and red designs lately. Will have to look for it when I’m in Krakow!

The third one is one of my favourite too Heather, but as you said it’s hard to pick up only one 🙂
I love them all, because I love cats…and these are all very stylish! What a great idea.

Thanks Corinne, I only wish I was the artist behind them all 🙂
Some cool pieces there including a Monsieur Chat by Thoma Vuile and a great piece by C215. Hope you are finding the some of the ROA, Bonom, Oli-B, Sonke, Invader, Ognev, FarmProd and of course the Clet modified street signs while in Brussels.
Thanks John, you are very informed about street art, probably more than myself. I like the one by C215 a lot too. We saw some Invader whilst bin Brussels, but none of the others so far, do you know where the ROA’s are?
I like the first one! I’d love to know where you found each of these, if you remember!

Sure Anna! In order from the first one: Paris, Sarajevo, Krakow, Nantes, Trentemoult and Paris again.
It’s hard to pick a favourite. Maybe the 3 black cats with the cardinal. 🙂
That is pretty nice but I have to agree with you Melinda, it’s hard to pick a favouirite! 🙂
Some cool cats. They remind me of that cartoon, Rhubard & Custard – do you know it?

I don’t know the cartoon, but Dale does from his childhood, he smiled when I mentioned it to him.
