Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where either Dale or Franca will choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.

Following on from last weeks Weekend Photo Theme about Urban Decay, I stumbled across some pictures that I really liked which figure into another love of mine.

As we travel, I’m lucky to come across aged shop signs from times past where comic sans was normal & helvetica was a fast approaching up-and-coming future. I love to take pictures of those that are still preserved about shop doorways & painted on the side of disused buildings. I feel the need to capture them before the opportunity is lost forever.

I’d like to feel like I’m preserving the artists passion for design, or the peak of someones talent for a job they were best suited for.
