Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where Dale or Franca choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.

As I was thinking over how far we’ve come in the past 12 months since we left the UK and landed on our first day in Pisa, I began to remember the town I’m from and some of the landmarks I don’t exactly miss (because I’m having a great time travelling, of course), but really like.

One in particular is this sculpture that stands at near the centre of the town which symbolises the natural spa water that brought fame and wealth to my town resulting in it’s current spa town status.

I love that at one angle it’s a complete droplet of water, at another a puddle of water. Especially, I love it’s colour against the grey and white flagstones that complete the area.

On our travels we’ve seen even more outdoor sculptures which I adore just as much. Here are just a few of them for this weeks Weekend Photo Theme.
