Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where Dale or Franca choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.

If there is a museum in town with an art exhibition (especially if contemporary or modern art) we must go and check it out. We have our favourites like the Tate Modern in London that we don’t miss the chance to visit every time we are in the city, but there are some museums we went to whilst travelling that we probably won’t have the opportunity to go back to, not any time soon at least, and not because we wouldn’t like to but because we don’t see ourselves travelling back in those countries in the near future – never say never!

Here is a selection of some of the museums that made a huge impression on us both for either their art exhibitions, their architecture or their unique design.
