Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where either Dale or Franca will choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.

Asian architecture is very very different from the one we are used to seeingback home. It’s interesting to observe and learn more about different styles and it certainly fills our personal knowledge about architecture more and more.

Sometimes though after having seen so many buildings, temples and structure all built in a similar way, it’s nice to see that there is a district or even a single street with colonial architecture that is still there fighting to be kept, no matter if it’s from British, Spanish, French or any others.

Here is a selection of some colonial style architecture that has attracted us so far during our journey in South East Asia.
