Weekend Photo Theme – Myanmar’s Temples

Weekend Photo Theme is a weekly photography article where either Dale or Franca will choose a theme, select 5 pictures to sum that theme up & tie them together with their interests of Architecture, Art, Design & Travel.

Working on the blog, trying to put some items together – and I begin to procrastinate. We all do it, and it’s even easier to do if what you’re working on is internet based. Fifteen minutes in & I’m reading some posts on a highly informative/friendly group on Facebook, called Travel Bloggers. On there I came across some people discussing the possibilities of travel to & through Myanmar (Burma to some).

Well, luckily, someone had been there before, had blogged about it & now was passing on the information to someone else. That ‘someone else’ wasn’t me – but it is now.

I read one of the posts and immediately fell in love with the world in which I found myself. I don’t want confess my love to much, I don’t want to sway peoples opinions; but look some of the pictures I’ve selected & try and tell me you wouldn’t like to be on the plane with me? Hopefully, Franca will be.

I watched a film titled “They Call It Myanmar” on Netflix last night, if you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. Very informative.
